TrueVisit vs ClickGUARD

ClickGUARD prices by ad spend and pushes exclusions straight into the Google Ads API. TrueVisit verifies traffic across every channel and includes AI crawler and publisher risk reporting ClickGUARD does not offer.

Last updated

The short answer

Use ClickGUARD if you want granular, spend-tiered protection for Google, Meta, and Microsoft Ads with clicks excluded automatically through the Google Ads API. Use TrueVisit if the traffic you need verified is not limited to paid ad clicks, or you need AI crawler visibility and a publisher invalid traffic score that ClickGUARD does not provide. They overlap only on the paid-ads slice of the problem.

What ClickGUARD does

ClickGUARD offers native Google Ads API integration: exclusions are created and removed automatically as protection rules trigger, and the tool manages Google's 500-IP-per-campaign limit for you by cleaning up lower-severity entries as new ones arrive. Checked August 26, 2026.

Plans are tiered by monthly ad spend rather than by traffic volume: ClickGUARD's own site lists a Lite plan from $74 per month covering one network up to $5,000 in spend, a Standard plan from $119 per month covering Google, Meta, and Microsoft Ads up to $50,000 in spend, and a Pro plan from $159 per month up to $100,000, with a Custom tier above that. Other listings show different figures for the same tiers, so treat these as approximate.

What ClickGUARD does better

  • Automatic, native Google Ads API exclusions that also manage Google's 500-IP cap for you, cleaning up lower-priority entries as new ones arrive. TrueVisit's export is still paste-in.
  • Click-level auditing down to the GCLID, useful for inspecting one specific click's history.
  • Geotargeting rules and custom offender warnings built for the PPC workflow specifically.
