TrueVisit vs Fathom Analytics
Fathom does simple privacy analytics very well. It is not built to tell you which traffic source sent bots, and does not claim to be.

The short answer
Fathom is a good choice if you want a clean, fast, privacy respecting replacement for GA4 and nothing more complicated. TrueVisit is not a replacement for it, it answers the question of how much of your traffic was real and where the rest came from.
Where the two differ
| Fathom | TrueVisit | |
|---|---|---|
| Focus | Simple, private, general analytics | Traffic verification and attribution |
| Bot traffic shown to you | Not the product focus | The main screen |
| AI crawler reporting | Not a documented feature | A first class screen |
| Blacklist export | No | Yes |
| Custom domain to bypass ad blockers | Yes | Planned, not built |
| Entry price | About $15 per month, checked August 22, 2026 | From $9 per month |
What Fathom does better
- A longer track record and a reputation for uptime.
- The custom domain proxy that gets around ad blockers, which TrueVisit has planned but has not built.
- A simpler product for someone who wants one number a day and no detection vocabulary to learn.
