TrueVisit vs Voluum
Voluum is a click tracker with its own fraud flagging built in. TrueVisit is a verification layer that names every bot and stores the evidence. Most media buyers who run both keep Voluum as the router and TrueVisit as the second opinion on what actually arrived.

They are not alternatives
Voluum is your source of truth for clicks, conversions, cost, and campaign routing. It decides which offer a click lands on and reports what you spent and earned. TrueVisit does not route anything and should not replace Voluum for that job.
What TrueVisit adds is a second, independent look at the traffic itself: was this visit a person, what is the evidence, and which zone or sub ID sent the rest, with a reason you can hand to an ad network.
What each one is for
| Question | Voluum | TrueVisit |
|---|---|---|
| How many clicks and conversions did I get | Yes | No |
| What did I spend and earn per campaign | Yes | No |
| Route a click to an offer or a rotator | Yes | No |
| How much of that traffic was a real person | Partially, through the Anti-Fraud Kit | Yes, as the core product |
| Every verdict stored with a reason | Not the product focus | Yes |
| Did an AI crawler read my landing page | No | Yes |
What the Anti-Fraud Kit does
Voluum's Anti-Fraud Kit, included from the Profit plan up, combines four tools: anti-fraud metrics such as abnormally fast or frequent clicks and poor referrer reputation, a time-to-convert check, manual IP or user agent blocking, and a honeypot link that only a bot would activate. Checked August 26, 2026.
By Voluum's own documentation, this flags suspicious traffic rather than classifying it. A click is marked suspicious or it is not, there is no third class, and the flag does not come with a stored, per-visit reason string the way a TrueVisit verdict does.
Voluum's own pricing page lists its Profit plan, the tier that includes the Anti-Fraud Kit, from $119 a month, billed annually. Third-party listings quote figures as high as $199 a month for the same tier, so treat this as approximate and check Voluum's own page before relying on it. Checked August 26, 2026.
Where the two differ
| Voluum Anti-Fraud Kit | TrueVisit | |
|---|---|---|
| Verdict classes | Suspicious or not flagged | Human, suspected bot, confirmed bot |
| Reason stored per visit | Not a stored field | Yes, plain English plus a reason code |
| Names the specific bot | No | Yes, where known |
| Sees AI crawlers such as GPTBot | No, JavaScript and redirect based | Yes, through server-side collection |
| Blacklist export for ad networks | Manual IP or UA lists | Per field, plus an evidence CSV |
| Publisher invalid traffic risk score | No | GIVT and SIVT split, with an early warning |
| Entry price | From about $119 per month, billed annually | From $5 per month |
What Voluum does better
- It routes the click in real time. A honeypot hit or a blocked IP or user agent never reaches the offer at all, and an auto-rule can pause a campaign the moment suspicious volume crosses a threshold. TrueVisit reports after the visit already happened and cannot redirect or pause anything.
- One platform for tracking, routing, funnels, and reporting, so campaign cost and revenue live next to the fraud flag instead of in a second tool.
- A far longer track record with media buyers and a much larger integration list of traffic sources and ad networks.
How they fit together
- Keep Voluum as the source of truth for clicks, routing, and revenue.
- Put the TrueVisit tag on your landing pages, passing the same click ID and sub ID parameters you already pass to Voluum.
- When TrueVisit shows a zone or sub ID with a low quality score, block it at the traffic source, the same way you would act on a Voluum fraud flag.
TrueVisit captures the common sub ID, zone, and click ID parameter names automatically, so in most setups this needs no extra tagging work.
